Knitted Beanie and Scarf

The finished beanie: circumference 46 cm (18″) and scarf: 17cm (6½”) x 130cm (51″)
This project uses the following stitches: cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knit two stitches together, pass slipped stitch over and cast off.
A coordinating beanie and scarf combination using a very soft non-mulesed merino wool Puggle Worsted. The pattern stitch is a knit and purl sequence and produces regular rib stripes in both the beanie and scarf. The beanie is finished with a large pompom which is the highlight colour in the beanie and the predominate colour in the scarf. This project makes a great gift for a loved one.
