Summer Silk Scarf

This pattern is for a knitted lacy scarf that uses soft silk yarn hand dyed in Australia.

Great to knit for a gift, this design uses 1 ball of Kaalund Yarns Enchanté – 100% silk yarn and 4mm non-slip knitting needles. This project uses lace stitches: knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, slip and yarn forward.

DESIGNER NOTES

A knitted lightweight silk scarf, perfect as a summer accessory. The pattern stitch is a combination of lace stitches using a fine silk yarn so using wooden knitting needles makes the knitting easier. This project uses only 1 ball of Kaalund Yarns Enchanté yarn and looks great in either a multi variegated or a subtly variegated colour. The stitch pattern will be more pronounced    using a subtly variegated colour. This project is a sophisticated, soft and silky scarf.
