Crocheted Shaped Popcorn Scarf

This pattern is designed for a perfect autumn lightweight shaped scarf, using only 1 skein of light fingering 100% cashmere yarn. Using a lace pattern and with the generous meterage count of this yarn this project is an excellent sized crescent scarf, great for a quick crochet or a gift. This design uses combinations of stitches to produce lace and filled-in areas so it is read from a chart as well as written instructions. The sample has been crocheted in colour Fallen Leaves which is a multi-variegated colour or for an elegant look choose a subtly variegated colour.

This pattern is written using Australian crochet terminology and the stitches used are: chain, treble, double treble and cluster.

1 skein of Kaalund Yarns 100% Cashmere yarn (pattern uses all of the yarn)

5 mm/US 8 crochet hook

Needle for stitching in ends
