A quick to knit scarf that is ideal for a weekend project. The very soft Australian wool yarn is squishy and warm and the easy colour change pattern creates a stylish, designer scarf. Constructed in the length with circular knitting needles and using our range of Cob Super Bulky yarn (100% Australian merino wool, fully processed and spun in Australia) in three different colours, this scarf is a great gift.

This project uses the following stitches: knit and purl stitches

Pattern requirements:

1 skein of 3 different colours of Kaalund Yarns – Cob Super Bulky (100% Australian wool)

15 mm/US 19 – 80cm/31″ length circular knitting needles

Large eyed tapestry needle for sewing in ends

Pattern:

Cob Super Bulky yarn x 3 different coloured skeins – the yarn used in this project. Sample is knitted in Cob Super Bulky Fern, Cob Super Bulky Olive and Cob Super Bulky Burgundy.

*In this pattern the circular knitting needles are used as straight knitting needles and not used in the round.

*To change colour cut yarn and sew in ends at the finish of the project.

Using colour A cast on 150 sts.

Row 3: k

Change to colour C

Rows 4 to 6: k

Change to colour B

Row 7: k

Row 8: p

Change to colour A

Row 9: k

Row 10: p

Change to colour C

Rows 11 to 13: p

Cast off.

Finishing:

Sew in ends using a large eyed needle.
